Since beginning 2021, ICS Netherlands is operationally managed by Terre des Hommes. Ronald remains chair of the board of ICS SP.

Ronald is also chair of the board of SOMO ( www.SOMO.nl ). The Centre for Research on Multinational Corporations (SOMO) is a critical, independent, not-for-profit knowledge centre on multinationals. It provides custom-made services (research, consulting and training) to non-profit organisations and the public sector, and strengthens collaboration between civil society organisations through our worldwide network. In these three ways, SOMO contributes to social, environmental and economic sustainability.

In 2020, Ronald started Het Grote Werk (The Great Work, www.hetgrotewerk.nl ), a center for inner development in a hectic world. For 20 years, Ronald has been a student of the Ridhwan school of AH Almaas. He is also yoga teacher in the tradition of swami Sivananda. He has first hand experience of the challenges of being on an intensive spiritual path, while at the same time functioning in a demanding position in the world and raising three children.
